Nik Bhatia is the founder of The Bitcoin Layer, a bitcoin and global macro research firm delivering a proprietary liquidity framework to retail and institutional clients. He is an Adjunct Professor of Finance and Business Economics at the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business where he teaches separate courses on fixed income and bitcoin. He is author of bestselling books Layered Money and Bitcoin Age. Previously, Nik worked as a US Treasuries and money markets trader and strategist for a large institutional asset manager. He has a BA in Social Sciences from University of Southern California, a Masters in Finance from IE Business School in Madrid, Spain, and is both a CFA and CMT charterholder.
